AiRM 2022

Art in Romney Marsh 2022

is a celebration of exciting perspectives on the title A Sea Change. The works address issues of cultural identity, sexuality, representation, diversity, and inclusivity.

Themes include; local history and heritage, the incredible legacy of Derek Jarman, the colour, variety, and inspiring local landscapes through to the perils we face from climate change and the need for taking a Carbon Net Zero pathway.

Alongside AiRM2022, we are very excited to be launching Modern Nature Trail, an LGBQT+ heritage trail. Exploring the creatives who lived, visited and worked in Smallhythe, Rye, Playden and across the marsh to Dungeness.
