Creativity and Learning on the Marsh

We work closely with the community on Romney Marsh, delivering projects and workshops throughout the year.

We engage adults who have limited access to learning and childcare, offering workshops during school hours in central community locations.

All our workshops are free with all materials and tools provided. We use local resources that can be foraged or gleaned; willow, wool, hedgerow materials and rush.

Bringing local heritage crafts alive.

Heritage Lottery Fund Emergency Covid Fund - Looker Hut

In response to the need for a recovery strategy, Art in Romney Marsh has worked with a local joiner Beth Walker to restore the Looker hut located at St George’s churchyard in Ivychurch.
